Just drop it in and plug it directly into your accessory power socket under your armrest.  We supply it with a 6 foot long cord that is fed between the back seats and tucked under the back seat and under the floor mats and then plug in the adapter inside your armrest 10 volt adapter.

To allow the heat to disperse from the compressor , we sell this with 2 options. The first is to discard your sub trunk cover and use the supplied the vented plastic version as shown in the photos, the second is to use the rubber spacer blocks that allow the refrigerator to vent the heat out through the back area near the trunk.

Simple drop-in installation, drop and plug in. One caveat is that new Tesla doesn't turn on the 12V outlet at the Sentry mode. Camp mode needs to be turned on to enable the 12V outlet. This is not a big deal since the cabin needs to be cool for the fridge to work properly --- Otherwise the fridge will overheat and stop working. 

Bluetooth connection for turning on and off and adjust temperature.
